Full Editorial Writeup
This is a commercial structural steel erection contractor operating across the Texas Triangle and into Oklahoma. The company erects the steel frames for commercial buildings, serving schools, retail developments, government facilities, and some industrial projects. Since 2016 it has built a solid reputation with the steel fabricators and general contractors who repeatedly hire it as a specialty trade subcontractor.
In January 2025 the business merged with another established steel operation, roughly doubling revenue and adding a second market in North Texas. On TTM figures through September 2026, it generates $5.76M in revenue, $927K in cash flow (SDE), and $881K in EBITDA, running lean through a leased office and an equipment yard with a staff of 22 full-time employees supplemented by 45 contractors. FF&E of $550K is included in the asking price.
What makes this notable is the demand-over-capacity dynamic. Management says it turns away bids it knows it could win simply because it cannot staff the work. That is an unusual position for a construction subcontractor and suggests the constraint is operational capital and crew, not market share or pipeline.
